Four Years on the Collhi and many rumors about towns around me, some accurate and some are the product of a mixture of vagueness and fiction. The most constant is my love of literature Crack , more specifically, that created by Pedro Angel Palou. Nothing further from the truth. It is wrong to say and sound confrontational or presumption, but nobody has again organized a meeting of quality. Here the proximity to Palou García became fully public because the author of Zapata (Planeta, 2006) the day he submitted his paper, publicly thanked the invitation he extended me, and applauded the quality of that meeting. But no one imagines that I was ignorant of the literature created by him. When I started to take its course, I began to read. I grew up and knowing at the same time the teacher, writer and later friend. My affinity with this great writer poblano is very recent.

From that I did like to have known of his novels, before his person, Xavier Velasco, my first contact with his writing at thirteen, fourteen years exaggerating the texts published in the journal Switch : Dixionetas in ink philosa Science and Music to make love . Which saved and stored into oblivion. I lost track. Then came the novel 2003 Alfaguara Prize for his famous work : Diablo Guardian . So I set out to meet Xavier Velasco to thank you for writing Guardian Devil. There are many reasons why one can identify with Pig or romanticize Violetta. But surely, for some social misfits like me, this novel has a code that could only be deciphered by those who militate in a school with Lasallian education and social deemed rejected, embodied virtually invisible chapter called Orphan. The time and causality introduced me to Velasco. Event that I'm keeping in mind as it was yesterday.

I'm still a big created by fan of Velasco, because until now no one has had the ease of writing with such naturalness and yet be deep. Velasco writes as he speaks and lives, no more. There is huge gap between the writer and person. And the Crack , of \u200b\u200bcourse I'm his staunch defender and I will continue, for they joined me two things: literature and friendship. Here there is no foreign ties as many think, is simple admiration and friendship.
