addressed Continuing with last week and close to Vladimir Nabokov. The author of Lolita says in the introduction to his European Literature Course (Ediciones B, 1987), but now the relationship between literature and the writer:
-
Literature is invention. Fiction is fiction. Qualify a truthful account of history is an insult to art and truth. Every great writer is a great deceiver, as is the architramposa Nature. (...) The literary author you do nothing but follow the example of nature. (...).
-
There are three points of view from which we consider a writer as narrator, as a teacher, and as charming. A good writer combines all three facets, but it is the charming and predominates makes him a great writer. (...).
-
The three facets of the great writer, magic, story, lesson, tend to blend into a single unified impression of brightness, as the magic of art may be present in the same skeleton of the story, the marrow thought dry, clean, organized, resulting in us an artistic quiver as strong as it can provoke a novel like Mansfield Park or any torrent Dickensian sensual imagination. I think a good way to check the quality of a novel is, in essence, a combination of poetic precision and scientific intuition. To enjoy the magic, intelligent reader reads the book's great not so much with the heart, not with the brain, but rather with the spine. This is where the shaking occurs revealing, even when reading we should stay a little distant, a little detached. Then observe, with pleasure at once sensual and intellectual, how the artist builds his house of cards, and how that castle is turning into a castle of beautiful steel and glass.
-
As presented here, no doubt, this book should be on our bookshelf, not only for the great introduction, aimed at bringing the reader to the idea that the author of Despair was about the craft of reading and write but also by the analysis that Nabokov made the following work: Mansfield Park Jane Austen, Bleak House by Charles Dickens, Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert , The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Robert Louis Stevenson, for Swann's Way by Marcel Proust, Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka and of James Joyce's Ulysses. Unfortunately for all is a book and discontinued or at least difficult to come by, I have, not even mine, is a loan made to this writer by the author of Morelos, dying is nothing (Planeta 2007).
-
Following this online reading and writing, in the eyes of the reader, read and write appears (Debate, 2002) VS Naipaul, Nobel Prize of Literature 2001 , in a brief but concise narrative is telling the reader may experience and he has had with the book. While passing by the private opinion that it is the work of the writer. The richness of this book is the ability to get the reader to delve into the experiences of Naipaul and endorsement. Common experiences, without much complexity.
-
Naipaul demonstrates in these pages, a person of flesh and bone, who enjoys reading and loves to write. A book in which the writer Edge of faith, is naked before the reader, gives him his heart and says, look at me, this is me. Stripped of all masks.
Here's an example:
-
In my fantasies of being a writer had no idea how to actually begin writing a book. I suppose, could not be sure-that this fantasy had a vague notion that once written the first book, others continue as if nothing had happened.
-
discovered that it was not. Do not let the material. In those early days, each new book supposed to face the empty house once again and return to the top. The later books emerged as the first, driven solely by the desire to write, with an intuitive perception, innocent or desperate for ideas and materials, without fully understanding where they could take. The knowledge came to writing. With each book deepened knowledge and emotion, and it ended in a different form of writing.
-
Each book represented a stage in the process of discovery was unique. My material-the past, separated from me also for the space was fixed, ended, there was nothing to add. This way of writing it had run out. He had reached the final after five years. My imagination for writing was like a blackboard full of doodles, deleted in some parts and clean at the end: tabula rasa.

Naipaul and Nabokov, two authors who must read for anyone who starts his journey through the literature, but also for the reader who wants to enrich their personal library.

Reading, listening to music, riding a play or a movie is a profession because, as Nabokov says in his European Literature Course (Ediciones B, 1987) who came to teach at Wellesley and Cornell: In reading, we look at the details, pet . Same sentence applies to writing a book or a dash of theater, music composition and direction of a film, not least of all the elements that form each discipline just to create a whole. But none of this would be worthwhile without an audience to which impact, need for interaction.

that most students went through the points 2, 3 and 4. But a reader complies with paragraphs 7, 8, 9 and 10. But certainly a good reader is one who rereads books, because the act of reading consists of a complex exercise that lies in the eyes to move all the time from left to right, this according to Nabokov, depth limits our understanding the meaning of the book. Just as with friends, you need a familiarity with the book to get to understand it completely.

Later, speaking of two kinds of imagination that can have a reader, dixit: First, is the guy, very modest indeed, seeking emotional support is simple and purely personal nature. We feel with great intensity the situation described in the book because it reminds us of something that has happened to us or someone we know or have known. Or the reader appreciate the book mostly because it evokes a country, a landscape, a way of life that he recalls with nostalgia as part of its own past. Or, and this is what The worst that can make the reader identify with one character. The second possible imagination and Nabokov should be considered ideal, impersonal and artistic enjoyment. Must establish a harmonious balance between mind and art of the readers and the author. We must remain a little distant and enjoy this distance, passionately, with tears and trembling "of the internal texture of a particular masterpiece.

As Nabokov asks readers know when and where to restrain the imagination, trying to elucidate the specific world the author puts at our disposal. Insists that we have the temperament to be a combination of artistry with the scientist. The reader should have passion and patience, passion and patience artist-scientist, to enjoy literature.

Although the writer is advised not use writing as a method of psychological type and is projected as it is in the works, and as seems to believe Nabokov, the reader should not fall into the trap of complete identification. It is clear and I dare say that each player has one, maybe five or more books that are important in our lives, for that reason that critical Nabokov: the memory, evocation, the identification and perhaps the analogy or metaphor to make the regarding our life work. Or be the case that you, dear reader (s) has a personal library in which each book has a specific why a particular book does have the privilege of belonging and that is that as a reader, I think, we take care entering and no, the most private place passively, and troubled by demonic: the mind. And the book is perhaps the only place, despite Nabokov-where one is able to psychoanalyze, designed and to identify, serves as a friend and psychologist.

There are readers who prefer contemporary classics, others go for the classics, no matter what they are saying the new voices, there will be those looking for a library supplied by all voices, currents, periods and styles, and some will read only important works as aesthetic criticism for a general background, but spend more time and passion in an author, because every book he creates in the reader the feeling : this book I could have written it. Each position is valid, provided they have a reason supported. After all it is read.

The author of novels such as paper Cemetery and Ship illusion presents its latest book: Memory Red, history of the guerrilla in Mexico from 1943 to 1968 . A work that after 25 years will see the light. The appointment is today at about 19:00 pm in the Baroque Hall Carolino building, headquarters of our maximum and luxurious Autonomous University of Puebla. The book jacket reads:
"There are hidden stories, which some characters would not want to dig ever. There are historians who reconstruct, deleted or ignored inconvenient facts, condemning them to oblivion. Memory red is the result of research that tells the other side of the story, that of the vanquished, in a time of modern history of Mexico in the there are still too many questions and blank spaces. Characters parade through the pages not considered by the so-called "official history": Ruben Jaramillo, Arturo Gámiz, Pablo Gomez, Genaro Vazquez, Lucio Cabañas and hundreds of trade unionists, students and peasants, whose struggles have disappeared from the annals of history. Memory red rescue folk heroes who have been at best, demonized by the official history of the country but mostly doomed to oblivion. This is a chronicle of the true champions of the people, without being raised to the level of heroes, martyrs and patriots have fought and died for social justice. A book Surprisingly, the result of a true and compelling research that reveals some of these gaps in the recent history of Mexico. "

This Thursday at 9:30 pm in the classroom Severo Martinez of the Faculty of Arts of the Autonomous University of Puebla my friend Nicholas Daniel Abadie presents his research: "Proposals emerging. A Mexican approach to narrative (dis) located: the novel 'totalizing' the Crack and the 'art of return' of Pitol. " It's a shame it has to be an Argentine who has been encouraged to talk about Crack and its relationship to Pitol, whilst others by envy and jealousy or anger simply by opting for literary veto. This shows once again that what is done well in Mexico is valued outside this country than within.

The Legend of Nahuala

Mexican cinema has not been characterized for making animated films, perhaps one of the most recent film is A eggs, whose achievement was to make it suitable for whole family-even while still making the occasional joke in both directions, because, remember that Huevocartoon were created for an audience older than 15 years. However, on Thursday November 1 will see a film created for an audience of children, and therefore familiar, arguably the first with this kind of support. In addition to amuse the wizard approach it in a way peculiar to Mexican customs. And the Puebla Puebla we see a digitized and animated.

will have to locate first in Puebla de los Angeles in New Spain (in the year 1807). At that Puebla was a boy named Nando, who will tell his brother Leo San Juan is a legend, which has its origins in an abandoned house that is possessed by the spirit of an evil witch named by the people as the Nahuala-who to get the soul of an innocent child can be resurrected and absolute power.
-
The film which premiered this November 1, with scenarios clearly poblanos, will last 80 minutes in a traditional 2D animation format with a color process and digital assembly. Interestingly, the film comes with digital sound for cinemas: dts
The original story is by Ricardo Arnaiz, the writers are Omar and Antonio Garci Show. Animex, the production house, the production was provided by various government and private companies that sponsor-up a good thing.
- Martha Higareda
the voice of Xochitl, Andrés Bustamante gives life to Don Andrés, Jesús Ochoa Machorro portrayed Santos, Fray Godofredo was conducted by Germain Robles, Alebrije Library was given by Rafael Inclan, while Ofelia Medina is the Nahuala.

is gratifying to complete almost the year with good news like this. Everyone has to go to the movies to support this film, which is a product made in Puebla Puebla. Rarely are things of this nature, and now we have a movie with plenty of quality and comprehensive effort in its creation we have to respond by filling the theaters throughout the duration of their projection in various venues around town. I already turned last Friday to attend a theater company located there in the Paseo de San Francisco.
