My Friends and family for sharing these 23 years of my life. -----
Latin word ---
There are few books now make a comprehensive review of the situation in which Latin American literature is current as does America Word , a book of essays published under the seal out of Seix Barral English and supported by the Fundación José Manuel Lara, had its origin in the First American Writers' editorial that called for in Seville in late June 2003. The papers and writers present at the meeting were: Sevilla kills me and Myths of Cthulhu by Roberto Bolaño; Inheritance break and disappointment, by Jorge Franco; Notes (and some footnotes) for a theory of stigma may loose pages of diary of a young writer almost exclusively South American by Rodrigo Fresán; Reviews a reader, by Santiago Gamboa; Two models by Gonzalo Garcés; I do not want to read me as my ancestors by Fernando Iwasaki; centrifugal and centripetal forces, by Mario Mendoza and McOndo The Crack: two group experiences, by Ignacio Padilla; Latin American literature in the face of media saturation By Edmundo Paz Soldan; Blogsivela. Write early twenty-first century from the blogosphere by Cristina Rivera Garza, Andreas not sleep, by Iván Thays, The end of the Latin American narrative by Jorge Volpi.

The above writers show their position and concern of the past, present and future of literature. They talk about their immediate legacies such as the writers of the Boom : Gabriel García Márquez, Carlos Fuentes, Mario Vargas Llosa, etc., The Half Century generation: Sergio Pitol, Salvador Elizondo, etc. Defend, while criticizing the importance of the Internet these days; We greatly appreciate the creative and literary experiment and a great opportunity to get closer to readers through the invention of the blog. A light-hearted tone, playful, sometimes apocalyptic, but always nice and deep, and irony, mockery and black humor are presented as a position, a way to observe and comment on life.

This book has a special sentiment, as Roberto Bolaño died after the end of the meeting. Added to this is the participation, as a prologue by Guillermo Cabrera Infante Meeting in Sevilla, who also died not long ago. The young American writers who write are the most authoritative voices to speak of present and future of Latin American narrative, which as Fresán says, are closer to being and ex-young writers.
