Red Memory of Fritz Glockner
-
The author of novels such as paper Cemetery and Ship illusion presents its latest book: Memory Red, history of the guerrilla in Mexico from 1943 to 1968 . A work that after 25 years will see the light. The appointment is today at about 19:00 pm in the Baroque Hall Carolino building, headquarters of our maximum and luxurious Autonomous University of Puebla. The book jacket reads:
"There are hidden stories, which some characters would not want to dig ever. There are historians who reconstruct, deleted or ignored inconvenient facts, condemning them to oblivion. Memory red is the result of research that tells the other side of the story, that of the vanquished, in a time of modern history of Mexico in the there are still too many questions and blank spaces. Characters parade through the pages not considered by the so-called "official history": Ruben Jaramillo, Arturo Gámiz, Pablo Gomez, Genaro Vazquez, Lucio Cabañas and hundreds of trade unionists, students and peasants, whose struggles have disappeared from the annals of history. Memory red rescue folk heroes who have been at best, demonized by the official history of the country but mostly doomed to oblivion. This is a chronicle of the true champions of the people, without being raised to the level of heroes, martyrs and patriots have fought and died for social justice. A book Surprisingly, the result of a true and compelling research that reveals some of these gaps in the recent history of Mexico. "

This Thursday at 9:30 pm in the classroom Severo Martinez of the Faculty of Arts of the Autonomous University of Puebla my friend Nicholas Daniel Abadie presents his research: "Proposals emerging. A Mexican approach to narrative (dis) located: the novel 'totalizing' the Crack and the 'art of return' of Pitol. " It's a shame it has to be an Argentine who has been encouraged to talk about Crack and its relationship to Pitol, whilst others by envy and jealousy or anger simply by opting for literary veto. This shows once again that what is done well in Mexico is valued outside this country than within.

And on Friday 16 at 11:30 am my friend and teacher Roberto Martinez Garcilazo read his research entitled: "Manuel M. Flowers: paradigms of Romanticism. Life as a literary work. " A poet recently heard and valued in Puebla it comes to the rescue of what was a great poet and liberal character also recovered years ago by our historian and chronicler, Pedro Angel Palou Pérez.
