addressed Continuing with last week and close to Vladimir Nabokov. The author of Lolita says in the introduction to his European Literature Course (Ediciones B, 1987), but now the relationship between literature and the writer:
-
Literature is invention. Fiction is fiction. Qualify a truthful account of history is an insult to art and truth. Every great writer is a great deceiver, as is the architramposa Nature. (...) The literary author you do nothing but follow the example of nature. (...).
-
There are three points of view from which we consider a writer as narrator, as a teacher, and as charming. A good writer combines all three facets, but it is the charming and predominates makes him a great writer. (...).

-
The three facets of the great writer, magic, story, lesson, tend to blend into a single unified impression of brightness, as the magic of art may be present in the same skeleton of the story, the marrow thought dry, clean, organized, resulting in us an artistic quiver as strong as it can provoke a novel like Mansfield Park or any torrent Dickensian sensual imagination. I think a good way to check the quality of a novel is, in essence, a combination of poetic precision and scientific intuition. To enjoy the magic, intelligent reader reads the book's great not so much with the heart, not with the brain, but rather with the spine. This is where the shaking occurs revealing, even when reading we should stay a little distant, a little detached. Then observe, with pleasure at once sensual and intellectual, how the artist builds his house of cards, and how that castle is turning into a castle of beautiful steel and glass.

-
As presented here, no doubt, this book should be on our bookshelf, not only for the great introduction, aimed at bringing the reader to the idea that the author of Despair was about the craft of reading and write but also by the analysis that Nabokov made the following work: Mansfield Park Jane Austen, Bleak House by Charles Dickens, Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert , The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Robert Louis Stevenson, for Swann's Way by Marcel Proust, Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka and of James Joyce's Ulysses. Unfortunately for all is a book and discontinued or at least difficult to come by, I have, not even mine, is a loan made to this writer by the author of Morelos, dying is nothing (Planeta 2007).

Following this online reading and writing, in the eyes of the reader, read and write appears (Debate, 2002) VS Naipaul, Nobel Prize of Literature 2001 , in a brief but concise narrative is telling the reader may experience and he has had with the book. While passing by the private opinion that it is the work of the writer. The richness of this book is the ability to get the reader to delve into the experiences of Naipaul and endorsement. Common experiences, without much complexity.
-
Naipaul demonstrates in these pages, a person of flesh and bone, who enjoys reading and loves to write. A book in which the writer Edge of faith, is naked before the reader, gives him his heart and says, look at me, this is me. Stripped of all masks.
Here's an example:
-
In my fantasies of being a writer had no idea how to actually begin writing a book. I suppose, could not be sure-that this fantasy had a vague notion that once written the first book, others continue as if nothing had happened.
-
discovered that it was not. Do not let the material. In those early days, each new book supposed to face the empty house once again and return to the top. The later books emerged as the first, driven solely by the desire to write, with an intuitive perception, innocent or desperate for ideas and materials, without fully understanding where they could take. The knowledge came to writing. With each book deepened knowledge and emotion, and it ended in a different form of writing.

-
Each book represented a stage in the process of discovery was unique. My material-the past, separated from me also for the space was fixed, ended, there was nothing to add. This way of writing it had run out. He had reached the final after five years. My imagination for writing was like a blackboard full of doodles, deleted in some parts and clean at the end: tabula rasa.

Naipaul and Nabokov, two authors who must read for anyone who starts his journey through the literature, but also for the reader who wants to enrich their personal library.
